IISER Bhopal invites applications from outstanding candidates with excellent academic credentials for recruitment as faculty to the School of Sustainable Systems and Technologies (SSST) at all levels - Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and Professor. 

The Institute will actively consider applicants with a background in Mechanical / Chemical / Electrical / Electronics / Critical Materials and allied disciplines. Candidates with interdisciplinary / systems-level research will be preferred. 

Proven expertise in themes such as Green Engineering and Design, Automation in Manufacturing, Circular Economy, Clean Energy Systems (including Energy Storage and Smart Grids), and Industrial Electrification will be an advantage. 

In addition to teaching, candidates are expected to excel in translational research. Preference will be given to candidates with industry experience and/or a proven track record of translational research as evidenced by patents, products, and entrepreneurial ventures.
